"AI - 3D WORK FLOW"
I first roughed out a mushroom character in my character design styling.
While over all I liked the character I thought it was not full flushed out. So I decided to have
Midjourney help me take my design to the next level.
I took the quick Keyshot render I did of my mushroom character and used the "/Describe" function
of Midjourney to help quickly ideate more options and results for what my mushroom could be.
Once have had my numerous iterations I began to look through the outcomes
and pull features and effects that I liked. From there I jumped back into 3D. In Solidworks I did my
rough sculpt of the Mushroom then pulled my base CAD into Blender were I set up the material and
light as well as adding in some textural details.
To finish off my character I used one of the high-res renders Midjourney created as a backplate and in Photoshop retouched my Blender render into the Midjounrey seen to help ground the character and really make the render and final outcome pop.
